Microlensing Mini Course (2025)

The RGES-PIT has developed a microlensing mini course for select students to participate in various Roman-related lectures and activities during Summer 2025. The virtual lectures were held in mid-May 2025; you can find lecture materials, recordings, and assignments at the mini course landing page here.

Data Challenge

The RGES-PIT launched the Roman Microlensing Data Challenge 2026 (RMDC26) in early 2026.

Submissions for the Beginner tier are closed.

The Experienced tier challenge is now running. Sign-up and submissions close on October 2, 2026.

RGES PIT Games

2026 Sagan Summer Workshop

The Sagan Exoplanet Summer Workshop is an annual training event for students, postdocs, and researchers focused on the missions and techniques driving NASA’s exoplanet science. The 2026 program highlighted Roman surveys, emphasizing microlensing and transits in the upcoming Galactic Bulge Time Domain Survey. Sessions covered survey strategies, predicted discoveries, ground-based synergies, and coronagraph capabilities.
